This gives the student a much more realistic experience, not only do they hear the sounds but they will also become familiar with where one would place the stethoscope to hear the heart and lung sounds. The student must palpate to identify correct auscultation locations, and will hear different heart and lung sounds as the SmartScope™ is moved to different locations on the manikin.
